4Waters President Angela Bryan Honored by FSAWWA

Angela Bryan, President of Four Waters Engineering, FSAWWA Award

Angela Bryan, President of Four Waters Engineering, was presented the Region II Volunteer of the Year award at the recent Fall Conference of the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (FSAWWA). The American Water Works Association (AWWA) is an international nonprofit, scientific, and educational association dedicated to improving drinking water for people everywhere. The Florida Section is comprised of more than 2,700 members including utilities, scientists, educators, engineers, water plant operators, regulators, public officials, consultants, manufacturers, and consumers. Angela is currently the Treasurer of FSAWWA Region II, which serves Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns Counties.

FSAWWA Region II provides many local programs and opportunities to members and the communities in Northeast Florida. Some of the programs and events the organization has helped make possible include educational seminars for water professionals, a Model Water Tower Contest for local middle and high school students, and a Drinking Water Contest for area utilities. In addition, the organization sponsored and co-sponsored multiple community events to raise money for charities including Water for People. These events included a bowling tournament, sporting clay shoot, golf tournament, putting contest, and a day of fishing.

We are thankful to Angela and all the members of FSAWWA Region II for the hard work they contributed to making sure all these activities were a success. We are so proud that they chose to honor Angela with this recognition!
