4Waters' Laura Constantino Featured in FLURISA Newsletter

We're proud to share that our own Laura Constantino authored the Featured Article in the FLURISA (Florida Urban and Regional Information Systems Association) August 2016 Newsletter. The article focuses on a project led by Ms. Constantino, a GIS Inventory and asset management tool for the stormwater management system at the Dunes West development in Mount Pleasant, SC. The project is a prime example of how 4Waters uses GIS to efficiently and effectively address a variety of our clients' infrastructure needs.

An excerpt:

The Dunes West Property Owners' Association understands the potential issues related to stormwater management and has chosen to actively promote water quality initiatives and environmental health rather than simply working to avoid negative consequences. To this end, they have partnered with Four Waters Engineering, Inc. (4Waters) to employ the power and flexibility of GIS to spatially enable the stormwater data and build a full-featured stormwater asset management system. This system offers a strategic approach by tying detailed data to geographic locations, to help ensure that deficiencies in their stormwater system are identified, addressed, tracked and monitored.
