Lake Apopka North Shore Interconnect Pump Station
4Waters designed a duplex pump station with 75 Hp axial flow pumps, each capable of pumping 25 cfs (11,220 gpm) constant flow through the 30-inch diameter discharge piping.
Additional improvements included two new 60-inch and one 48 inch corrugated aluminum culverts with motor operating gates, three level stilling wells to monitor and control water levels, rip-rap stabilization on all embankments, overhead power to the pump station, and an electrical control station for the pumps and gravity control structure gates. In addition, 4Waters designed a permanent access earthen berm across Lake Level Canal
