Ridgeland Well No. 3 Improvements
Improvements were intended to enhance the reliability of the well and encompassed building modifications, electrical modifications, and civil/mechanical modifications.
Building modifications included expansion of the existing building footprint and separation into two rooms for separate chemical storage and pumping equipment. Electrical modifications included new service to the site, new lighting, grounding, and SCADA improvements. Civil/Mechanical improvements included removal and replacement of 10-inch discharge piping, replacement of valves, piping, and sump pumps in the vault, and provisions for replacement of the 100 Hp vertical turbine well pump and motor.
