4Waters Team Member Honored as Region II FSAWWA Volunteer of the Year

Caryle Capuyan, a Civil Engineering Student at the University of North Florida (UNF) and intern at Four Waters Engineering, was presented the Region II Volunteer of the Year award at the recent Virtual Fall Conference of the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (FSAWWA). The American Water Works Association (AWWA) is an international nonprofit, scientific, and educational association dedicated to improving drinking water for people everywhere. The Florida Section is comprised of more than 2,700 members including utilities, scientists, educators, students, engineers, water plant operators, regulators, public officials, consultants, manufacturers, and consumers. FSAWWA Region II serves Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns Counties.

Caryle is a student member of FSAWWA and has recently taken over the role of President of the student chapter of AWWA at UNF, in addition to the Florida Water Environment Association (FWEA) and Society of Environmental Water Resource Awareness (SEWRA) student chapters.  Ms. Capuyan regularly attends and assists with Region II events and has been especially helpful with the Region II Model Water Tower Competition which is held at UNF.

We are proud to have Caryle as part of the 4Waters family and we join FSAWWA Region II in thanking her for her volunteerism and all that she does. Congratulations Caryle!
